Who Am I?
Experience is a great teacher and I am an eager student! My experience with both acute and chronic pain has given me empathy and a ready ear for pain in others both emotionally and physically. My frustration in trying to be heard or believed left me with a desire to genuinely listen and validate pain in others. Experience as a mother, teacher, interpreter for the deaf and finally my experiences working in the Emergency Room, all have given me an insight and an intuition to understand the body on a non-verbal, intuitive level. The powerful soothing effects of touch during traumas of the ER left a lasting impact on me that would eventually steer me toward the work that I do today.

This vibration massage touches the client on mental, spiritual and physical levels. The fluidity and depth of this massage often results in a hypnotic, relaxed state, yet the client leaves feeling energize. For clients who feel energy, this is a massage to remember.

Energy Cradling
Experience pain reduction in one visit. This method is great for athletes limited by pain. In this technique, Barb uses the vibrating heat from her hands to draw out pain. Being a skeptic herself, Barb guarantees her work. You must experience it to believe it. Barb has been highly effective with:

The following treatments are great for 'in between' massages. In my opinion the body should be treated as a whole. Sometimes, however, stresses of life call for a quick 'pick me up'. The times allotted ARE for specific areas. Tissue and the body's energy can't be rushed...For an effective full body treatment, 90 minutes is preferred.

Whether feeling fatigued or 'out of sorts', this 25 minute session will leave you feeling right with the world again.
Quick Recovery Treatment
$105 per session
Consists of 2-3 sessions depending on the issue.
*For surgeries or hospital stays this treatment has been highly effective for a speedy recovery.
Pre-op - This session will boost the immune system and balance the body's energy so the patient will be as healthy as possible prior to surgery.
Post-op - In this treatment, toxins will be released and inflammation will decrease. This treatment also will jump start the body’s' innate healing ability.
Mentoring/Consulting

I believe we ALL innately have the ability to heal. Through mentoring,
I have proven this to be true. The only requirements are a passion to
learn and a childlike ability to believe in the seemingly impossible.
Therapists, mothers and often children, have taken off on their own with just a few mentoring sessions. My greatest thrill is to introduce
someone to the 'healer' inside ready to be awakened. (May share the
session with up to 3 people)

What do I actually do?
Since a child I've been able to feel pain in others. I also feel imbalances in both the physical and energetic body. I begin by listening intently to how my clients relay their issue. Word choice along with subtle body language begins to give me a clue to the problem at hand. My goal is not to diagnose, but to return balance to the entire body. Using my 12 years of experience with more than 6500 treatments, I keenly am aware of many basic muscular irregularities that cause pain, but on a deeper level, when I touch my client I intuitively find the source of discomfort. THIS is why I'm unique. When all other avenues have left them hopeless, I will NOT rest until I have found the source of my clients' pain. Once the source is found, the rest is easy. I simply use the heat and energy from my hands to melt tissue that has hardened over time, many times due to injury, surgeries or just wear and tear. Results are immediate, and often permanent.
I've taken on every issue presented to me, and if I think I can't resolve the problem, I will refer the client to someone who can. When all hope is gone....They find it again at InTouch Therapy.
